GTAGeo Privacy Policy

How GTAGeo handles account access, map submissions, uploads, community activity, logs, cookies, and security.

Network Privacy Source

GTAGeo uses the shared SpiderTaz Network account and SSO framework. This page explains GTAGeo-specific privacy handling for GTA map discovery, submissions, uploads, creator media, guides, chat, community activity, and site security. The central SpiderTaz Network Privacy Policy also applies when you use GTAGeo.

Privacy Approach

GTAGeo collects what is reasonably needed to run the site, receive useful GTA-world submissions, review evidence, protect users, prevent abuse, preserve contribution records, improve map discovery, and support account access. GTAGeo does not sell personal information.

Information GTAGeo May Receive

GTAGeo may receive shared account signals from SpiderTaz Network identity, including user ID, display name, sign-in status, and basic account status needed to keep access working. GTAGeo may also collect content you choose to send, including locations, discoveries, screenshots, video links, creator links, corrections, player tips, route notes, map notes, contact messages, reports, comments, and related details.

Public Submissions

Approved submissions may appear publicly on GTAGeo. Public material may include titles, descriptions, source links, screenshots, video links, map notes, contributor credit, timestamps, status labels, and details that help visitors understand the discovery. Do not submit private information about yourself or anyone else.

Screenshots, Clips, And Links

Screenshots, clips, and linked pages can contain usernames, captions, timestamps, device details, map clues, background information, or file metadata. Only send material you have permission to share. GTAGeo may reject, edit, crop, obscure, or remove material that appears private, unsafe, unrelated, misleading, infringing, or harmful.

Cookies, Sessions, And Logs

GTAGeo may use cookies, session records, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, protect forms, reduce spam, support shared account access, secure the site, analyze performance, and understand which pages, searches, map areas, and tools are useful.

Security And Abuse Prevention

GTAGeo may use account activity, submissions, logs, request details, security signals, and moderation records to detect spam, impersonation, automated abuse, harmful uploads, repeated misuse, unsafe links, scraping, or attempts to damage the site.

Review And Moderation

Submitted content may be reviewed, edited, approved, declined, hidden, merged, archived, or removed to keep the map useful, safe, accurate, and respectful. Review decisions may consider evidence quality, safety, rights, privacy, source reliability, and community value.

When Information May Be Shared

GTAGeo may share information when reasonably needed to operate hosting, security, analytics, email, file storage, shared account access, moderation, payment, support, legal compliance, abuse investigation, rights protection, or a business transfer involving GTAGeo. Service providers should receive only what is reasonably needed for their role.

Retention

GTAGeo keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to run the site, maintain account access, review submissions, preserve useful community records, resolve disputes, enforce rules, prevent abuse, protect rights, support backups, meet legal needs, and maintain map history. Some approved public content may remain available unless it is corrected, removed, or replaced.

Your Choices

You can choose what to submit, avoid adding personal details to public content, ask for corrections, request review or removal of material you sent, or contact GTAGeo with privacy questions at contact@gtageo.com. Include the page URL and enough detail to identify the content.

Children

GTAGeo is intended for a general gaming audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact GTAGeo so the material can be reviewed.

Updates

GTAGeo may update this Privacy Policy as the site grows, features change, or legal and safety needs change. Continued use of GTAGeo after an update means the updated policy applies.
