GTA VI pre-load begins November 10, 2026. Rockstar announced the date on November 3. The game remains scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
When Downloads Begin
- PlayStation 5: digital pre-load begins at midnight local time on November 10.
- Xbox Series X|S: digital pre-load begins globally at 12 a.m. GMT on November 10.
These platform-specific times are listed in Rockstar's support FAQ. Pre-loading prepares the download; it does not unlock the game early.
What Changed
The November 10 announcement replaces the older November 12 digital pre-load date. Rockstar's support page still contains some November 12 wording alongside the newer platform-specific FAQ. Its physical-box shipping and pickup information also lists November 12; the new digital date does not establish an earlier physical delivery date.
Check your platform's download screen for storage requirements. Read the existing release and editions guide for the previously announced purchase options.
